Women's Job Satisfaction (5=very satisfied)

Terex has given me the opportunity to step up and present my ideas, despite my young age and gender. Cranes (and construction in general) is historically a male dominated industry, especially in customer facing roles, engineering, and production. But Terex has given me the opportunity to step out and be a female face for the company. It has taken more time to earn the respect of others in the industry than it has to earn respect at Terex.

By its nature, manufacturing itself is not flexible and that is difficult to change and is not limited to Terex. But Terex does a great job of allowing departments that do not impact production delivery times to have flexibility.

Although I have not been in the position to take maternity leave, Terex recently introduced a great new maternity and paternity program that offers extended paid time off for both mothers and fathers.

I think Terex values women in the workplace although I think there may not be as much flexibility for women in operations roles

Ask early on development and advancement or the management isn’t going to support you. It is a great place to work, but also horrible at the same time.

I am enjoying my time with Terex in my current position. I would encourage other Women to reflect on what they are looking for in a workplace culture as well the desired role you are seeking. Do your own research on if Terex's culture matches your needs and desires, please consider applying for a position . .

I am encouraged that Terex is piloting flexible work schedule program and considering expanding its "work remotely" options. Continue to invest in strong systems to support those initiatives and continue to share best practices on how best to be productive and effective in this changing workplace landscape.

Terex is a place where you can both grow your career but also enjoy your life outside of the workplace. There are opportunities to wear many hats and gain extensive experience. The new emphasis on flexible work and global diversity is a testament to the dedication of the leadership team to become a more inclusive and a best place to work in the industry.

I have been working here for over 12 years. I have a good team however it is very difficult to get up the ladder here. There is also no room for negotiating any payrise, you just get the cost of living. I believe they pay outside recruits a lot better than internal recruits.

I enjoy working at Terex and would recommend it to both men and women. I have never felt at a disadvantage because I am a woman. But it is a male dominated workplace so sometimes it can feel that family friendly policies are available but maybe not promoted.
