For women in a predominately male dominated profession, this company has been very accepting of me as a woman in that profession.

The hours are long and not too much time to balance life and work during weekdays. Instead of doing something everyday (playing with kids, exercise...) you will have to make all them up together during the weekend since all you left after work is a couple of hours at home before going to bed.

Women's initiatives are lip service. In 8 years I've seen three less educated men promoted over me.

I love working at Terex! There are many opportunities to improve processes, increase your knowledge, and grow as a professional. All of these factors have a direct impact on overall job satisfaction. Recently, Terex implemented a flex-time policy, which allows me to enjoy activities outside of work that I would otherwise have to give up if I didn't work at Terex, such as group fitness classes; adjusting my work hours (start & end time) has allowed me to exercise every day, which has improved the quality of my life. Obviously month-ends are busy due to the nature of accounting careers, but this should be expected in most accounting careers. If you enjoy being challenged, having flex-time, and receiving other great benefits, Terex might be a great place for you.
