Speaking for office positions, the work hours are good, salary is good, and there is an opportunity to excel independent of gender. Terex has a program focused on improving the workplace for women and helping women advance which is not found in many other companies.

    There is a time-off policy that is clearly defined but I feel that taking time off seems to be frowned upon. Additionally, I believe the maternity leaves and benefits for working mothers are very small and inflexible compared to what other companies are doing and to what Terex itself does in other countries where this industry is unionized and there are laws that cover this subject.

    Maybe. This is a manufacturing company and I think it would depend on what the job position is and where it would be performed. I feel that there is still some work to be done in terms of respect and equality in the shop floor.
