Sometimes it seems that no matter how much we do, it doesn't matter. We are short handed and get behind on duties at times, and the higher ups just say get it done.

Terex is a great place to work and have had the opportunity to advance in my career. As with all other companies, there are areas across the board that bring us down at times and I believe the CEO is pushing for improvements in these areas.

Terex has great flexibility. Many of us had this before we implemented the WorksforMe flextime program.

There are multiple items - more women in leadership - and value their opinion, pay better - if a person is far outperforming their peer they should be compensated as such, not on a "fairness" scale, and the final - recognition, we lack across the board at Terex at recognizing people for their achievements.

  • Recommend to Women?

    Maybe. Depends on career aspirations.

You need to be brave, be honest and you will be respected more. Do not play the poor-woman card - that will not go down well. Be transparent and fair and you will receive the same back. I have always had an excellent relationship with my leadership team and that allowed me to progress.

There is discrepancy between countries and regions- IE - flexi-time in US but not in Europe. There are limited policies - such as fair travel policy - and when they do exist they are at "managers discretion" so rarely granted.
