I think this is a good stepping stone for women who want to pursue a degree because Terex will absolutely send you to a university and pay for it, which is what attracted me to this job. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be anywhere to move up once you achieve your degree, which will lead me to pursue employment elsewhere.

Maybe. I believe it depends on the role. For example, women should be strongly encouraged to pursue a career here in something like customer service. Women are not encouraged to pursue sales positions in this industry.

Office people have more flexibility than shop floor people for obvious reasons. But in the past few years, they changed the start time for shop floor personnel making them come in later and leave later in the day - thus causing them to get off later. Use to be at the same time or earlier than school got out. They could make appointments, attend kids' activities, but now it's 4:30 and these things are now impossible without using time off.

Be prepared to be over-worked and unappreciated compensation wise. Expectations sometimes are very over stretched. It's all about what the shareholder want/need/expect. Working for a publically owned company is not as great as some may think.
