"Depending on the department you're in makes all the difference. I've held a number of roles in my almost 20 year career at The Hartford and at the end of the day, when I was most engaged and enjoying the work I did, I had a great manager/leader."

"Stand up for yourself and learn to promote your own work. Being team oriented and saying "we accomplished this", will lead others, particularly males that you've been keeping afloat with your team attitude, to get promoted over you because they're not afraid to talk about and own good work. "
