ZS is full of smart, humble, and kind people which you cannot say for many companies. They also take the time to specifically support women through programs like the Women's Leadership Initiative.

ZS is a great place to work as a woman. I joined as a post-MBA consultant and found ZS to be a place that offered lots of great female leaders and role models, as well as work that was both interesting and challenging. While I haven't taken advantage of many of the benefits ZS offers regarding flexible work hours or family benefits, I think they are quite strong!

I have worked at ZS for a long time. I have felt fully supported in both my personal and professional goals. While we could use more women in leadership positions, I feel that I have many growth opportunities. I cannot imagine working anywhere else.

Respect for people - and respect for women - is paramount here. While we have areas where we can improve, I truly see this as as close to a meritocracy as any place I have been.

ZS is a place where women can excel, I have worked in other industries and other consulting companies. What I can say about ZS, more than any other place I have worked in my 20 years as a professional, is that they care. They invest significantly in their employees, stress the value of always doing the right thing, and once a concern or problem is identified they make an effort to understand and resolve it. Consulting is a challenging profession no matter where you are - you go into it expecting to work long hours and deal with challenging situations, However the support at ZS makes these times seems less hard and even enjoyable.

Of course in the world of consulting, client demands play a big part in driving your daily schedule and workload. Ebbs and flows are expected. But ZS provides the flexibility that allows you to meet these demands in a way that also allows you to meet your own personal and family needs. Working from home so I can make my mid-day doctor's appointment, leaving early so I can attend school plays and concerts and then completing work later - these are not problems to the extent I am able to respond to the requests of my clients and teams.

Respect for people is inherent to the ZS culture. Our core values—do the right thing, treat people right and get it right—guide everything we do. As a woman, it is by far the best place I've ever worked - both in terms of the opportunity to make an impact with our clients, but also from an internal support and respect standpoint.
