Event details

While any election year tends to bring politics to the forefront of our lives, it’s probably safe to say that 2020 is a year that’s blended personal, professional, and political unlike any other time in our lives before. During this time of great social change and upheaval, how do we bring politics into the workplace in an authentic and educated manner?

Join Fairygodboss and AnitaB.org as we discuss how your experience and career can drive your advocacy, and how to engage your network in thoughtful election-related conversations.

*Fairygodboss and AnitaB.org are nonpartisan organizations.

This event will be recorded and posted here within 24 hours of the end time. We'll also email the recording directly to everyone who registers.

While at NSF, she worked on efforts to broaden participation in computer science and other STEM fields. Stephanie completed her doctoral degree in immunology at Washington University in St. Louis, where she studied the T-cell development process and devised innovative strategies to observe this phenomenon in live animals, in real time, using advanced microscopy techniques. She received her bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from Stanford University, with a focus on microbes and immunity. Having personally benefited from the generosity and attention of amazing STEM mentors, and still benefiting from those relationships, she values the opportunity to support young STEM enthusiasts and the systems that encourage them.
