Event details

Want a career that offers the potential to make a meaningful positive impact both for your community and individuals across the globe? Look to manufacturing.

Today's vibrant, high-tech manufacturing industry is creating, making and delivering the products and services that have the power to change lives--safer cars, allergy-friendly foods, technologies that help ensure clean water supplies for communities. Careers in this dynamic field encompass a variety of roles in production on sleek factory floors as well as an expanding universe of options in data management, robotics programming, reliability engineering, research and development, and more.

Join Fairygodboss and Influential Women in Manufacturing, a program that honors women who are effecting change in the manufacturing and industrial production space, for a conversation with Linda Freeman, business development manager at Rockwell Automation and an Influential Women in Manufacturing 2018 honoree, about manufacturing's many paths to meaningful, rewarding (and, not for nothing, well-paying!) careers. Discover what manufacturing looks like today and learn how you can help create solutions that impact millions.

During this webinar you'll learn:

  • What a career in manufacturing looks like
  • The skills you need for a career in manufacturing
  • Tips from industry experts to help you when you're first starting out
