Event details

According to a recent GOBankingRates survey, the majority of American adults (57.65 percent) are planning to make a major job change this year. Some are seeking more purpose in their work, some want more flexibility and some are after better benefits or bigger paychecks. Others are preparing themselves to adapt to advancements in emerging technologies like artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Career changes are more common than you might think. In fact, it’s estimated that people have 12 jobs throughout their lives. At Morgan Stanley, plenty of women in leadership roles have pivoted positions and industries entirely. Some have even taken time off for personal reasons—from family planning to higher education pursuits—and returned to the workforce to continue in their careers. Here, we’ll catch up with them to talk about their experiences—and you can join in on the conversation.

In this webinar, you’ll learn about:

  • How to advance in your career when you pivot roles or industries

  • Best practices for reintegrating into the workforce after time away

  • How to prepare to make a major career pivot
