Corinne Lipscomb is currently Technical Manager and Chief Product Owner of Materials Informatics within 3M’s Corporate Research Laboratories, where digital tools for data management and data analytics are being developed for Research and Development. She holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in Chemistry from Manchester College, and UW-Madison respectively. She has worked for 3M for more than 10 years. Prior to her current role, she held roles in technology development, technical management, and as a lean six sigma blackbelt.

Dr. Bridgette Shannon is a native of Little Rock, AR. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Henderson State University, and Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. She has industry experiences in product development, manufacturing of cosmetics, semiconductors, and environmental technologies. Currently, Dr. Shannon is an Application Development Engineer in 3M’s Abrasive Systems Division and supports customers by delivering unique abrasive solutions to help advance their businesses. ...

She has 10 years of experience at 3M in technology development and a broad range of adhesive research to include work on structural, pressure-sensitive, and thermal bonding adhesives supporting the industrial, automotive, aerospace, and electronics industries. Mary has a background in chemistry and materials science holding a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a B.S. in Chemistry from Elon University in North Carolina. She did internships at NASA Langley Research Center, the University of California-Berkeley, and the Army Research Laboratory. Dr. Caruso Dailey also has a passion for positively influencing our next generation of scientists by being a Mentor and Judge for 3M Young Scientist Challenge and is the current chair of the Technical Women’s Leadership Forum at 3M. In her ‘free’ time she enjoys running, singing, traveling, and spending time with her husband, 4-year-old son Owen and 1-year old daughter Ella.

Bridgette was given the honor of Modern-Day Technology Leader by Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) global competitiveness program. She was also featured in Fast Company and Essence magazines. She received a regional Emmy award for her feature on PBS through the Twin cities Public Television’s “SciGirls” video series themed “Real Women. Real Jobs. Making a real difference.” In her video, she shared strategies for overcoming challenges and finding success and joy in a job where women are underrepresented. She was also featured in a PBS “Hands on Science” video series as a 3M Visiting Wizard where she helps to demonstrate the concept of air in the atmosphere to kids. Bridgette participated in 3M video series as part of The State of Science Index to provide a positive impact to society as a working mom. In the video, Bridgette opens her home and work experience to the world as one of the faces of 3M to combat the perception that scientists are elitist and unapproachable. She was also a guest speaker on KMOJ radio, featured in FairyGodboss and Refinery 29 digital media sites, providing insights and innovation concepts to support working moms. Bridgette currently serves as a Board Member for Mounds Park Academy and the National Organization for the Professional Advancement of Black Chemist and Chemical Engineers. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and Technology chair for Minneapolis chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. Bridgette currently lives in the Twin Cities with her husband (Dr. Simon Shannon), two sons (DJ and Jaxon), and daughter (Charlie).
