Shanan joined New York Life in 2008, as an agent in the Mississippi General Office. Pursuing a career in management, Shanan was promoted to Partner in 2010 and then promoted to Senior Partner in the Mississippi General Office in 2016. After building her career in Mississippi for 8 years, she was promoted to Managing Partner of the Knoxville General Office in January 2017. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Mississippi. Shanan resides in Knoxville with her husband, Mark and two daughters, Ainslee and Linlee.
