I am being given a new role at my company in the midst of covid-19 while we’re all working from home. Two months ago I was job searching, because I was completely burnt out at my company and in my job. I’m so torn. On the one hand the role I’m going to is in my field- where as my old role was really not. I have an MBA that the company paid for- and I had been asking for a job change for months to find something that more aligns with my professional goals. They are finally giving me what I asked for but it’s not coming with a promotion or raise given the current climate of the economy. I guess my question is should I stick around with an open mind for this opportunity? See how it goes then decide if I still want to stay once the economy improves a bit? Or should I continue to job search in this climate?
