The days are long but the years are short. I hear this ALL THE TIME as a mom. Do you?
Exhausted days of waking up early, and powering through work and chores doesn’t leave much energy left for our kids. And it’s sooo painful because they deserve our energy. (Cue the mom guilt).
I was thinking about this the other night as I was playing “campfire” with my 3yr old, Owen. I honestly loved every minute of it. And so did he. I could tell how excited he was to hang out with mom.
You know why I was able to have the energy to truly enjoy playing pretend with my son?
It’s because I do what I love. I found my purpose and went after it.
I’m not the only one this can happen to. YOU have the option, too.
