I would provide the customers children with candy and coloring books and toys whenever they needed to be distracted so their parents can work on getting an insurance policy. Without being restless.
Good morning all. I work at a school in DC that also serves as a summer camp. I do not work directly with the children during this time but of course I am around. A parent called to say they had to pick up their child and I stepped in to help because I couldn't find anyone at the moment to assist. The next day the parent wrote me a lovely note saying they were appreciative of my efforts to help even though I am not part of the camp staff. It's important to me that I not only put my best foot forward for my summer work for the company as whole. Every interaction that a person has from the beginning to the end can leave a great mark or a sour one.
