Fairygodboss Women in Technology

Hello, everyone!

I'm Jasmine and I'm new to tech. My background is in Spanish Translation and I'm multilingual--- I'm fluent in Mandarin and Italian also. I'm transitioning into tech primarily focused on Front End Development right now, but hopefully becoming full stack. My bootcamp just ended and I'm practicing my coding skills with other projects. I'm currently job searching and prepping for interviews, but I wondered if anyone has any advice at this stage. It seems overwhelming to apply for jobs, especially since you cannot gain experience without job experience. Companies list entry-level positions while asking for 2-3 years of experience. My bootcamp focused on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.js; I'm also finishing up a web design course. I'm proficient in WordPress and took an introduction Ruby class to make myself stand apart, but I feel like I'm spreading myself too thin. I know that starting out is something everyone has to do, but should I do something differently? If anyone is interested in connecting with me on LinkedIn, please feel free to connect! https://www.linkedin.com/in/jasmine-jackson-web-developer/
