About the team
The Lifestyle team drives growth across everyday essentials. We partner with leading brands and sellers to deliver seamless, engaging shopping experiences that make TikTok Shop a trusted destination for daily needs.

About this role
We are looking for a highly analytical and commercially minded individual to drive strategic initiatives within the TikTok Shop Lifestyle team.

You will own projects from problem definition and analysis through execution, performance measurement, and scaling. The role involves identifying growth opportunities, solving complex business problems, and translating insights into actions that improve seller performance and commercial outcomes.

We are looking for someone who combines strong strategic thinking with hands-on execution: someone who can navigate ambiguity, exercise sound judgment, and move initiatives forward independently while aligning cross-functional stakeholders

Responsibilities
- Own strategic projects end to end: Define business problems, establish objectives and success metrics, develop work plans, and drive execution through to measurable results.
- Identify and prioritize growth opportunities: Evaluate opportunities across seller growth, ads strategy, assortment development, and commercial operations based on potential impact, feasibility, and business priorities.
- Lead rigorous business analysis: Form hypotheses, analyse complex datasets, identify root causes, and develop actionable recommendations with clear supporting evidence.
- Design and scale initiatives: Translate insights into practical interventions, test them through pilots, assess results, and develop repeatable approaches for broader rollout.
- Drive cross-functional execution: Align category teams, account managers, operations, and central stakeholders on priorities, responsibilities, timelines, and decisions.
- Manage project performance: Establish tracking mechanisms, monitor progress against targets, identify risks early, and resolve operational or performance issues.
- Communicate clearly and influence decisions: Develop concise presentations and business proposals that explain findings, trade-offs, recommendations, and required actions.
- Improve ways of working: Identify recurring execution gaps and build processes, tools, or governance mechanisms that improve efficiency and accountability.

- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, including the ability to frame ambiguous problems and translate data into business decisions.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and analysis of large datasets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to present recommendations clearly and manage stakeholder discussions.
- Ability to prioritise competing demands, manage dependencies, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in e-commerce, technology, or management consulting, particularly in roles involving commercial growth or strategy execution.
- Familiarity with marketplace dynamics, seller operations, digital advertising, or category management.
- Proficiency in SQL is a plus and experience with dashboarding or data visualization tools.
- Experience taking an initiative from concept to pilot and broader rollout.
- Experience influencing stakeholders across teams without direct reporting authority.
