The Role

The Enterprise Sales Executive, Healthcare Strategy, Data & Analyticsis a consulting-led commercial role responsible for expanding Alight's healthcare data and intelligence business with large employers. This individual will use deep experience in employer health and benefits consulting to diagnose client challenges, interpret healthcare and benefits data, shape strategic recommendations, and connect Alight's capabilities to measurable business and workforce outcomes.

The role will lead new-logo pursuits, expand existing client relationships, and build influence with benefits consultants, brokers, and other ecosystem partners. Success requires more than traditional solution selling: the executive must be credible in a consulting conversation, comfortable challenging a client's current approach, and capable of building an executive-level business case grounded in cost, experience, outcomes, and value.

What Makes This Role Distinct

• Healthcare consulting credibility first, with the commercial discipline to originate and close complex opportunities.

• Ability to move from data and diagnostic insight to a clear employer strategy, solution design, and executive business case.

• Strong understanding of the employer healthcare ecosystem, including claims, carriers, pharmacy, navigation, point solutions, health administration, and consultant influence.

• A market-facing role that connects client needs, consultant perspectives, product capabilities, and Alight's broader commercial strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead consultative discovery with Benefits, Total Rewards, HR, Finance, and Health & Welfare leaders to identify cost, experience, outcomes, and ecosystem-performance challenges.

• Use healthcare and benefits data to frame client issues, identify opportunities, and develop strategic recommendations rather than relying on product-led presentations.

• Translate complex client needs into outcome-based solution strategies that connect Alight's healthcare data and analytics capabilities with the broader benefits ecosystem.

• Develop executive-level business cases, value hypotheses, and ROI narratives that support investment decisions.

• Originate and advance new-logo and installed-base opportunities with Fortune 500 and other large employers.

• Build trusted relationships with healthcare consultants, brokers, and strategic partners, and position Alight as a credible partner in employer benefits strategy.

• Lead complex pursuits from initial market development and discovery through solution shaping, proposal, negotiation, and contract execution.

• Partner with Strategic Account Executives, Navigation, Health Administration, Product, Data Operations, Solution Architecture, and Consultant Relations to create integrated client strategies.

• Bring market and client insight back to Product and leadership to inform positioning, roadmap priorities, packaging, and go-to-market strategy.

• Maintain disciplined account planning, pipeline management, forecasting, and pursuit governance while meeting or exceeding bookings and revenue objectives.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in healthcare consulting, employer health and benefits strategy, healthcare analytics, or a closely related advisory field; commercial or business-development accountability strongly preferred.

• Experience advising large and complex employers, preferably organizations with 10,000+ employees.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze employer healthcare challenges and convert insights into strategic recommendations, solution designs, and measurable business cases.

• Depth in several of the following areas: healthcare claims analytics, pharmacy, carrier strategy, population health, navigation, point-solution optimization, benefits administration, data warehousing, employer reporting, or healthcare cost management.

• Executive presence and the ability to engage CHROs, CFOs, Benefits and Total Rewards leaders, consultants, and other senior healthcare decision-makers.

• Experience operating within or alongside firms such as Mercer, Aon, WTW, Gallagher, Lockton, Segal, or comparable healthcare and benefits advisory organizations is highly valued.

• Proven ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder engagements and influence decisions without relying solely on formal authority.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to simplify technical and analytical concepts into a compelling commercial narrative.

• Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, consultant engagement, conferences, and strategic pursuits.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• A former senior healthcare or benefits consultant who understands how employers evaluate strategy, vendors, data, and outcomes.

• A consultative growth leader who can create demand through insight and credibility, not simply respond to established opportunities.

• A translator who can connect healthcare data, product capabilities, and client priorities in language that resonates with executive buyers.

• A collaborative market builder who can strengthen Alight's point of view and help commercial teams tell a more differentiated, outcome-based story.

Measures of Success

• Qualified pipeline and bookings generated from new and existing employer relationships.

• Executive-level opportunities created through advisory-led discovery and market engagement.

• Growth in consultant and broker influence, referrals, and strategic relationships.

• Quality of business cases, value narratives, and integrated pursuit strategies.

• Market feedback translated into stronger positioning, packaging, and go-to-market execution.
