Responsibilities

TikTok's Global Business Solutions (GBS) regional sales and advertising teams drive revenue growth by promoting our advertising solutions, onboarding clients, and running campaigns that deliver measurable results.

Client needs, market trends, and performance expectations shift constantly, and differently in every market. We build strategy accordingly, turning those moving pieces into advertising solutions that work and client partnerships that last.

You will help businesses grow on a global platform, working on the campaigns and relationships that turn advertisers into long-term partners.

As our METAP business continues to grow, we're looking for a strategy manager to help shape our commercial direction and identify new opportunities for growth.

In this role, you'll analyse market trends, competitive dynamics and untapped opportunities across advertising verticals and products. You'll build a deeper understanding of key accounts, including their market positioning and our share of their advertising spend, to identify where we can grow.

Working closely with Data Analytics and business teams, you'll connect external market insights with internal performance data to turn findings into clear priorities, actionable recommendations and measurable execution plans. This is an opportunity to influence where the business focuses its resources and how it develops its next growth drivers.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Competitive Landscape Mapping - Systematically map and monitor the competitive landscape, analyzing competitors' strategies, product offerings, and market positioning to surface actionable implications for our business.
- Vertical Opportunity Identification - Identify and evaluate growth opportunities across advertising sub-verticals, prioritizing high-potential segments to inform commercial focus and resource allocation.
- Key Account Market Share Analysis - Collect, track, and assess the market share of core clients (Key Accounts), building a clear and data-backed view of their positioning and growth potential within their respective markets.
- Business Strategy Development - Define and shape the future development strategy of the business, translating market intelligence, client insights, and competitive analysis into a coherent long-term direction.
- Strategic Roadmap & Execution Planning - Develop a concrete implementation roadmap to bring the strategy to life, grounded in our internal business performance and actual results - ensuring the plan is realistic, measurable, and aligned with on-the-ground execution capacity.
- Ad Product Research - Conduct in-depth research on different advertising product formats (e.g., Apps, Leads, Gaming, Commerce, etc.), assessing their applicability, performance, and monetization potential across markets and client types.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- 3+ years of strategy consulting experience in the Middle East, with solid understanding of regional market dynamics, business environment, and key industry trends.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous problems, generate actionable insights, and translate strategy into execution plans.
- Strong business and numerical acumen, with the ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and support decision-making with a fact-based approach.
- Fast learner with strong curiosity about the internet, technology, and digital advertising industries; able to ramp up quickly in new business contexts.
- Experience in market sizing, competitive intelligence, or identifying growth opportunities across markets and business segments.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment, with a high level of ownership and execution discipline.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the advertising industry or a technology company, especially in roles involving strategy development, go-to-market planning, or strategic execution.
- Proven ability to leverage AI tools for deeper data analysis, insight generation, and strategic recommendation development.
- Demonstrated success in coordinating complex cross-functional projects and driving alignment across multiple stakeholders.
- Familiarity with digital advertising products, commercial models, and performance metrics across verticals such as Apps, Leads, Gaming, and Commerce.
