TikTok Local Services (TikTok GO) is a one-stop commerce solution that connects global users with local services through the creative use of TikTok POI (Points of Interest), short videos, LIVE, and search. It delivers valuable real-life experiences and inspires users to explore the world around them.
With the mission of "Discover great places, Empower local businesses" Local Services aims to be the most trusted platform to discover great places and connect local businesses. It helps communities engage with restaurants, hotels, and attractions, equips businesses with new ways to connect with customers and drive transactions, and combines innovative marketing and operational tools to support sustainable growth.
We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship. Our internship program offers students hands-on experience, industry exposure, and opportunities to apply their knowledge to real-world challenges while building a strong foundation for personal and professional growth. Interns will gain practical experience, explore potential career paths, and participate in social events, learning programs, and development workshops alongside industry professionals. As a Business Development Intern, you will be part of our Dine-in SMB team, working with small and mid-sized restaurant merchants to drive growth on our platform. Depending on your individual strengths, you may be placed in one of the following areas:
- Business Development Operations: Monitor and analyze BD team performance metrics, including KPI tracking and pipeline data, to support data-driven decision making. Work closely with cross-functional teams such as operations and product to ensure smooth coordination and timely delivery of business initiatives
- Marketing Campaigns: Assist in planning and executing end-to-end platform marketing campaigns, ensuring timely launch and smooth delivery. Track and analyze campaign performance metrics including merchant sign-up rates and GMV impact, and support optimization efforts based on data reviews
- Business Development: Identify potential merchant opportunities and assist with outreach and partnership development. Assist in maintaining relationships with merchants and partners, and help understand their business needs to support long-term collaboration.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification(s)
- Currently pursuing an Undergraduate in Business, Marketing or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Good communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fast learner with a proactive attitude, strong sense of ownership, and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in English is required to communicate with internal stakeholders based in English-speaking markets, where English is a primary working language.
Preferred Qualification(s)
- Internship, project, or campus experience related to sales, marketing, operations, partnerships, or business analysis.
- Familiarity with content platforms, digital marketing, or social media ecosystems is a plus.
