There is definitely still a disparity between the amount and male and female employees and leadership. But the more Apple continues to stay true to their promise of diversity, I'm hopeful that will change. There are opportunities for women to move up, but it can seem discouraging when you don't see as many women in leadership positions.
Apple states they try hard to be diverse, and they do to a certain extent. But it can still prove difficult to get promoted as a woman, especially on the technical side. I’ve worked in stores in the south and it’s much worse there, all male managers. Better on the west coast. Still needs improvement.
