This company was ok until it filed for bankruptcy. Employees were left high and dry
Women are treated the same as men here so be prepared to lift and stack items.
I have been working there for 5 and half years and i dont treat the same as men. As a cashier i have very room for growth i have many departments but when there is a open spot they always hire a guy for the spot. I have been helping out the seafood department a lot but still no raise and i was helping out while they were training a new guy. It is just not fair at all.
I got hired as a courtesy clerk and feel like the janitor..
I have been working here for 8 years and my family got full benefits that the other company cannot give. The best employer and giving their employees a decent life. They give equal opportunity to move up even you are not college graduate.
I wish I wasn't so sensitive. Being treated like I have know clue what I'm doing.
Maybe be more prepared
I've worked here since they bought out Brooks Pharmacy, They expect too much from us in the area I moved to. Were I moved from, we had cashiers from start to finish of our shifts and here we are on register for over half our shifts and they still expect us to get the floor work done. I used to love my job where I came from but transferring here, I wish I didn't. I as well as many other shifts are very unhappy because we get yelled at for not getting the work done but how can we if we're on the register for over half our shifts? Benefits are good, but sometimes the good doesn't outweigh the bad. There is a lot of tension because we always know we're going to get yelled at for stuff we could not physically get done. Too bad I used to love it here.
