6 paid / unpaid
After 6 weeks STD (not at full salary) you have to take your vacation. If you don't have enough it's unpaid.
Not for Pay, Promotion
Maybe. It depends...some managers are very old school and offer zero flexibility. Asset Management is statistically dominated by men. I think it's getting better but it's so slow. They don't even offer laptops to employees! And maternity leave?? Nope nope nope. Short term disability is it. No additional paid leave. You have to take your vacation or go unpaid to get your 12 week FMLA. There is no paternity leave.
Improve work-life balance and policies (e.g. flex-time, limit face time)
