Do not judge the company by the actions of one manager. Managers come and go and some are worse than others in regards to gender, flex time and family life. Working with HR to correct issues is the way to go.

The company boasts having a flexible work schedule, but I find that a lot of times that is simply not the case. For example after putting in your 40hour week I have had to spend additional hours on a Saturday doing testing that was mandated by a manager. Actions and words do not always align.

  • Recommend to Women?

Maybe. Equality is really based upon the hiring manager, it does not seem to be company wide. So depending upon the department I would be cautious about suggesting other women apply.
