This company is very conservative but realizes the importance of being more diverse and inclusive. The journey has started but will take some time. So if you join be patient and find ways to improve the culture.

To become more competitive, UTC Aerospace Systems has introduced a flex program that allows employees to be more flexible with work time. They have also improved their parental leave by increasing from 6 to 12 weeks for mothers and allowing fathers to take 3 or 4 weeks. Things are changing but there is still some resistance by those who have been around for a while.

Maybe. There have been changes within the organization that have promoted women to position of more responsibility. Also, there is a high focus right now on balancing the equation with men and women as well as recruiting more women into STEM roles.
