‘I Love My Job’: How One Manager Remembered to ‘Keep Pushing Toward Your Dreams'

Welcome to I Love My Job, the series where we hear from women who really love their jobs. In this edition, we sat down with Danielle Eubanks, the Customer Experience Manager in the Car Sales Division of Enterprise Holdings. The culture at Enterprise Holdings is about “taking care of employees, customers, the environment, and the communities we serve,” Eubanks tells us. “Every day, I come to work truly feeling like I'm making a difference in someone's life.”

Eubanks tells us that another key benefit of the company is the opportunity to grow. “There's never a moment where I feel stagnant,” she says. “I have a team that encourages me and pushes me to really find out what I love and what I'm passionate about. And I know that there's always a place in the company for me to connect that with.”

For instance, during her three-year journey with Enterprise, Eubanks has already seen incredible growth! After starting in the Rental Division as a Management Trainee, she was promoted after only about a year to a management assistant position. “At that time, I figured out my passion in my career — building relationships with people,” Eubanks shares. 

And Enterprise was there to help her follow this passion, which involved pivoting to a division that best aligned with her passion: Car Sales. After changing divisions, Eubanks was promoted within a year to a senior sales consultant. “Then, in about two weeks, I was promoted to a customer experience manager, which is the position I hold today,” she explains. Throughout this journey, Eubanks notes that she was constantly supported by her mentors and Enterprise even supported her in getting a master’s degree while working!

For others who are looking to join Enterprise and to experience exciting levels of career progression, Eubanks has the following advice: “be open-minded, be ambitious, and keep pushing toward your dreams… Enterprise has so many different opportunities for you.”

What do you find most exciting about your work?

The most exciting aspect of my job is making the puzzle pieces come together for customers that come into our office. Every day's fresh. While you never know what you're getting into, you know that customers are going to come in with a problem, and you’ll be tasked with coming up with a solution for them.

For example, it can be a car accident that they were involved in or it can be trying to purchase a vehicle for a family member. Our job is figuring out what the perfect conclusion is for them so every customer that leaves, whether they get a car or not, always leaves with a smile. I really love that we're able to find that perfect ending for them.

How would you describe the culture at Enterprise Holdings?

You're always meeting somebody new, you're always building new connections, and we all have that one thing in common — that we started with Enterprise… I love that we're constantly growing and that there's always a new opportunity to move up in the company.

What are your favorite things about working at Enterprise Holdings?

One of my favorite things about Enterprise Holdings is that the opportunities are endless. For instance, the networking opportunities. Truly, some of my best friends I have in my personal and professional life have come from this company. 

I love the fact that I've been able to experience so many different places and people. Even as an entry-level employee, you’re able to travel and see things that you’ve never seen before… We have such a fun culture, and I really think that's something that a lot of people miss when they're finding a good career. I'm happy that I was able to find it in mine.

How does Enterprise Holdings support you in regards to benefits?
