Sabbatical
Yes, Deloitte offers two sabbatical programs to eligible professionals: an unpaid one-month sabbatical that can be taken for any reason; and a three- to six-month sabbatical that can be taken to pursue personal or professional growth opportunities in the areas of career development or volunteerism. While on a three- to six-month sabbatical, professionals continue to receive 40% of their pre-sabbatical base salary. The program is voluntary and offers:

· An opportunity to achieve personal and professional goals

· Time to refresh and renew to help increase effectiveness, creativity and productivity

· An acknowledgement of hard work and dedication

Overview: Parental leave policies
Deloitte professionals – from the parent celebrating the arrival of a new child, to the professional caring for a spouse or significant other, to the professional supporting aging parents – have support from Deloitte’s family leave program.  Men and women alike are eligible for up to 16 weeks of fully Paid Family Leave to support a range of life events impacting them and their families.

Also under this Paid Family Leave program, mothers who give birth to a child are eligible for up to six months of paid time off when factoring in short-term disability for childbirth.

Deloitte offers up to 16 weeks of paid time off through its Paid Family Leave program to bond with a child as a result of birth or placement for adoption and/or to care for a spouse/domestic partner, parent, child, and/or sibling with a serious health condition.

Deloitte’s Paid Time-off (PTO) program gives professionals the flexibility to manage time off in a way that works best for them. Deloitte’s PTO program gives professionals an allotment of days that encompass vacation, personal, and sick time. Actual PTO accrual will depend on the professional’s position and possibly on their years of eligible service. To provide additional flexibility, our program includes a carryover provision for unused PTO.

Lactation facilities
Yes, Wellness/lactation rooms to express milk are available in many U.S.-based offices. Deloitte University’s nursing mothers program provides those at Deloitte University with resources to pump, pack, and ship expressed milk in dry ice for next-day delivery.
Fertility
Yes, Through Deloitte's healthcare plan providers, infertility treatment and egg preservation with generous lifetime maximums are available. (Egg preservation provided to protect eggs in cases of health-related issues.)
Child care benefits
Yes, Deloitte professionals can participate in the LifeWorks® program which provides assistance for choosing care or services and obtaining referrals to community programs. This program also offers resources including publications on a variety of parenting, education, and aging issues.

LifeWorks® also includes:

·Lactation support – covers a professional-grade breast pump, six months of unlimited telephone counseling with a certified lactation consultant, and reimbursement of shipping expenses for expressed milk while on business travel.

·New parent program – an information new parent kit containing a variety of resources for both new mothers and new fathers, biological and adoptive.

Backup child care
Yes, Emergency backup dependent care can be used when you need to be at work and your regular child or adult/elder care is unavailable. Care is available for infants through teenage children and adult relatives of Deloitte employees, up to a maximum of 30 days per employee per fiscal year.
Child care subsidies
Yes, The dependent care flexible spending account (DCFSA) allows participants to set aside up to $5,000 from their before-tax pay for eligible dependent care expenses.
Elder care
