I joined Cornerstone in 2018 and genuinely enjoy working here for so many reasons. First and foremost, the company culture is incredibly supportive and collaborative which allows for ideas to be shared freely and gives everyone a voice at the table. Kalpana Biswal works as an Engineering Team lead for Cornerstone in Bangalore, India office. In her current role she manages a team of engineers, makes engineering decisions, collaborates with other teams and actively contributes to the code base.

She has 12 years of industry experience - she started her career as a Quality Assurance Engineer in Bangalore area before moving to Santa Monica and joining Cornerstone in 2013.

At Cornerstone she switched her role from a Quality Assurance Engineer to Application Development. In 2019 she moved back to Bangalore, India to build and grow the Recruiting product team there.

Kalpana looks forward to taking up new challenges and wants to keep learning new technologies and people management. She is also a member of Cornerstone India's Diversity & Inclusion initiative. She practices D&I and educates other about various benefits under it. 

In her spare time, Kalpana practices yoga, loves traveling and photography.

I love working at Cornerstone because I get to meet and work with people from all over the world. It's amazing to learn from different cultures and make friends from many countries. This global connection makes my job exciting and full of new experiences. Another thing I really appreciate is the flexibility to work remotely. Cornerstone trusts us to work where and when we are most productive, which helps us balance work and personal life better. This trust makes me feel valued and supported.
