It all depends on your manager. I've been fortunate to have someone that supports the flexibility I need to be a working parent, and I do the same for my team.
If you want something, ask for it. Upper management and HR listen well but you have to ask for it.
I wouldn't recommend Fitbit. There is very little ability to work from home for most people. Many groups have an overwhelming bias toward men (operations, engineering, finance are almost entirely comprised of male management).
