"I had a wonderful work-life balance working here because I had a work from home, full-time position. I got laid off, and it seemed the work from home positions are less of an option now. I enjoyed my time working at ADP, but eventually my boss made my life hell. I had a great boss when I started who helped train and develop my skills, but he was eventually laid off as well. My new boss was a woman, and seemed to be harder on employees with work-life balance. She would work long hours as a work martyr and expect us to check emails during off hours and weekends. The work life balance, even with work from home became unbearable. There were even times I went on vacation that I ended up having to help out with "emergencies" that could have waited. The culture on the west coast from California offices was much more laid back than the culture in the Roseland, NJ office. As a global company, it was also difficult to work on conference calls with people overseas who had more vacation and work life balance than you did in the home office. Overall, there's a diverse workforce and the compensation and benefits are great. But there's little true innovation going on. The work style is very traditional, even though they have an "innovation lab" that mimics a tech company but lacks authenticity. "

"ADP is a great place to work. It’s culture and values support the tenets of things that are important to women like equal pay, maternity support and leave, backup child/elder care, and the flexibility of being remote in some cases. I love working at ADP!"

"Great place to work; young parents especially will love the flexibility and work-life balance. Once you reach a certain level then the growth is very slow. Promotions are based on seniority mostly although company does tout performance based growth. Career path is not clearly defined neither is the path to the next step."

"Work-life balance is a common discussion here. Leadership does a fantastic job of allowing flexibility for different life situations. I do not feel that being a woman inhibits my growth as a leader within the company. There is a lot of support for women in this organization. "

"It's a great company to work for but there needs to be more of a life/work balance put into place. The company promotes it, but when you dive into specific areas it is impossible to have. Employees can easily put in 50-60 hours a week and its still not enough to keep up with the demands. "

"Women are in leadership and do very well at this job, however we meet with small businesses. It can be uncomfortable as a woman alone meeting with individuals that can very well be a random number on a call list. "

" This is a good place to start your career. You can learn a lot here. Thank you "
"Be aware that you will have to work here 5-7 years to gain respect to be promoted."
"I would say that the pay is great. The technology is not where it should be for a fortune 500 company. There are so many manual processes and therefore long hours are required to support. Change is very slow. Depending on the role, you could be working very long hours and weekends."

"ADP is making a huge effort to improve the experience and create parity between men and women. Changes in leadership, including a very visible diversity officer, are paying off. While there were issues in the past, I now view ADP as a leader in this area and it makes me proud to be at ADP."

"ADP as a whole is great for women and minorities. They do have flexible hours but their PTO for maternity leave is only 6 weeks. They do however offer paternity leave of 2 weeks that women can take in addition to the 6 weeks. "
"Busy, always very busy. There is no slow time, ever"

"ADP Is great place to work and most managers will give you work/life balance."
"There is some flexibility but the true remote/homeshored model isn't being used anymore. Still many other benefits!"
"Look elsewhere. If you are not in management; you are treated awful. Overworked with extremely poor compensation for employees that are not management. The work schedule is brutal and do not expect to spend any time with your family at the holidays because unless you are management it is a black out period where you are not allowed to take time off. Be prepared to fear for your job on a daily basis, because every time you turn around jobs are being outsourced for cheaper labor. Also, it is a "revolving door" so don't get too comfortable in knowing who you work with. "
"Good Employer - would recommend - hard to be promoted - very competitive and skilled workforce - great people "

"ADP and the leadership I have worked for (both male and female) have great respect for working mothers and families. I go the extra mile every day because I don't feel on the hook to respond to every email that comes through in the evening or weekends (which is rare by the way....Leadership that I interact with is very conscious to not send work through during non-working hours!)"

"Great culture, great work/life balance, great benefits & growth opportunities"
"great opportunities to grow within the organization. ADP values employee and customer feedback."
"This organization seems to promote diversity and embrace all of our differences. I have not seen that for some time and it is very nice.."
"This is a great stepping stone employer- but if you want to advance your title and pay, you will need to move on. I was given this advice by several colleagues (and one manager) and it has proven to be true. I have seen many talented women who are ready for leadership roles leave after being passed on for a man who in many cases was less qualified and did not know the industry. However, if you are at a point in your life where you are not able to travel, have family commitments and want to be well compensated for a lower level or mid level job, ADP is fantastic. It is a great place to learn new skills and work with smart people. Work life balance is great - and once you've figured out your balance and are ready for more money or more challenges, you will most likely find yourself looking out side of ADP."
"Being a mother and an employee is doable at ADP. There is work life balance."
"This is a very large company and career advancement is dependent on location. There is potential for growth since the company is focusing on women in leadership at the moment, but again dependent on location and role."
"Its a nice environment overall, flexible hours. Not very fast paced promotions though."
"Management was very supportive while I was pregnant. Allowed me to work remote whenever I didn't feel well and come and go when I had my monthly Dr. visits without having to use vacation time. During my last month they allowed me to work remote which was most helpful! "

"ADP is a great place for women, they have flexible work arrangements and good benefits."

"Plenty of work/life balance and many opportunities for advancement for women"

"great environment, great people, sensitive to work-life balance, great culture"
