"If you are coming here because you love the product or the work, you’ll be fine. But don’t come just for the culture."

"They have solid benefits, but nothing stellar for a huge company: two weeks paid maternity leave plus FMLA. They offer telecommuting which is nice, and very flexible hours. Women are treated equally as peers and their opinions are regarded equally with men's, in most cases. There is still a lack of women in leadership positions, but they are working on this actively. Overall, it's a good place to work and offers plenty of opportunities for growth."
"The location is a great place to work and has flexible schedules for women. Often times, work/life balance conversations are focused on women and men who have families. As a woman who is single, I feel like my boss still allows for me to have flexible hours to balance my personal life and schedule, which is great. We have a well equipped gym with towel service, which is helpful for all employees. Lunch is provided everyday, which is helpful! The specific items that pertain to women specifically is that they offer tampons and pads in the restroom. For women who decide to have kids, the office is equipped with nursing rooms (and rooms just to decompress). "
"It is a wonderful place to work with great benefits! "

"My schedule needs flexibility to balance work and home life and I've never had issues when requesting flexibility. The culture at Continental is fun and yet we get stuff done! They offer many incentives that make it a great place to work."

"They have great benefits and are understanding to all circumstances. "
"Its a great place to work. I feel respected and cared about. I also feel the "freedom to act". "
"Continental continuously is working to improve and support their employees, especially women in the workplace ."
"There are on-going initiatives aimed at supporting working women, working mothers and women in leadership."
"Management recognizes the talent and potential of my female colleagues, myself included. I have never felt like I was inferior to any of my male colleagues and am always encouraged to do bigger and better things. "
"Continental continues to make great strides to ensure flexibility and overall support for women in the workforce. It truly is a great place to work for everyone, including new moms. "
"Great Place to work! Good changes are taking place recently in flex time but not all managers allow or agree; they really need to get on the boat!"
"Continental is like a home away from home. There is never a morning that I come to work and am not excited to be here. Everyone exemplifies our values & treats each other as family. I feel encouraged to move forward in my career and to challenge myself in ways I may not have been challenged before. "
"Continental Tire gave me the opportunity to have my first leadership position at the age of 28, and the career opportunities are endless especially if you are willing to move overseas! Management is from the most part good and the values of our company are observed in many ways especially “FOR ONE ANOTHER” People are always willing to help and act as a one team for the best of the company! "
"I have been fortunate enough to be on a team of some great women. I feel like we all look out for each other here, although I haven't experience much inequality myself."
"Diversity of women has always been a focus at Continental. Over my 5 years of working there, I continue to see the advancement of women into executive roles grow. Additionally, we promote different initiatives which provide the flexibility that working mothers often need. I think this helps us retain great employees who continue to develop and success within our company."
"Wonderful culture that allow everyone to feel supported and valued. "
"Lots of equal opportunities, not only supported by policies but a free open respectful place to add with new ideas and projects still respecting own personal demands."

"The right things are in place to implement a diverse environment. There are still pockets of improvement areas which need to be addressed, but overall good."

"Continental is in general very keen on promoting diversity in many aspects, gender diversity included. I feel females are treated equally in compare to their male counterparts. One thing I think the company could consider (at least for its US locations) is to extend the paid parental leave. It would help promoting a healthier work life balance for all genders in the long run."

"Make your own thoughts of what working model would fit you best and then discuss with your manager how to make it possible."

"Continental has made great strides over the last several years to improve flexibility for its employees. We also have female networks globally and a development program specifically for our early career females to ensure a strong start to their career with Continental."
"The company has great policies and they are improving flexibility which can be important, but the compensation could be improved and you do not often see females in management/executive positions. "
"It is extremely difficult to gain insight to potential career opportunities if you are a non-German - Networking and visibility in the company are vital for career growth. "

"It's a great place to work. There's always opportunities to move and try new things. They are very open to supporting career changes, so it's not uncommon to see people with engineering background in HR, or from HR to Controlling. "
"It is truly a great company to work for. You'll always have some men/women wherever you work that are difficult to work with, but here they are few and far between. More so than work/life balance, its truly an integration of them. Most positions here can work around just about anything that pops up. If you need to work 4 hours, go to the doctor and come back 2 hours later and work another 4, it's possible! They understand that in order to do your best job possible you have to be mentally and physically healthy and you can't be when you are constantly worried about something going on at home. Telecommute days are amazing as well. "
"great benefits (401k, bonus system, PTO and more), nice working environment, international exposure, "
"Great place to work with work life balance and ability to move around internally if you desire"

"Started as a temp employee and was hired full-time. I have worked in hospitals, and other manufacturing companies and people always make up the main reason for staying with a company. Conti tries hard to support women in the manufacturing and sales realm. We work hard but are rewarded for the hard work. "

"Continental is moving in the right direction. There have been a lot of policy changes over the last couple of years to support women and flexible work. They are also really great programs for development and mentorship. There are still not tons of women in leadership positions, but there is a conscious effort to change this while still promoting the best person for the job regardless of sex or race."

If you prove to be a valuable employee, the organization is likely to work with you throughout various stages of your life and career. "
