"Lots of great, strong females in mid- to VP-level positions who are very supportive of other women, however there's very few at the executive level. It also seems that Ericsson-based tenure really matters, so build your network and plan to wait it out a bit if you want to make an impact, be respected, and get selected over someone else with more company-specific experience. "The office i worked at let most of the women go w/in a span of 2 years. My entire technical group which consisted of 3 women out of 17 people. The women were let go in the first round of layoffs. Most of the men were offered a deal to stay on and get extra bonuses to do so. It was pretty disgusting."

"Thsi place is not spoken about but its super inclusive. Its a fair place where output and imapct is recognised vs hours of work. Women hyere leave early, leave on time and no one raises a brow. Eevryone is super suppotive of parental duties and accomodate hours/ work to meet those needs. Flexibility is given to all without an implication on promotion/ growth. Its hard to find a flexible and supportive place like Ericsson."

"They can be really great in what they say about how they want to promote diversity and some managers even do. However, there is a clear disconnect between the Swedish egalitarianism that they try to purport and the realities of working for a global tech company in the US. Additionally, they lack female leaders in the areas that they consider their core business, ie Engineering, Sales and Operations. "

"Depends on environment where you work on: on Nordic European country is much different then in Mediterranean: it all depends on cultural belongings of managers; exceptions are rare. Working in Mediterranean region I would say: "Don't expect promotion on real management position (people manager on medium to upper level), be prepare to work hard and prove yourself twice as much than a man" "Expect around 15-20% less money on same position and qualification""
