"The rank your position holds in any given department is going to pave your direction. Potential for growing in your career is highly advertised and the turn out of such reality is minuscule. The opportunity door for skilled, hard working, dedicated team members is held tightly shut by the individuals that indeed sold the idea initially at orientation. Promotions and opportunities are not designed as an open invitation to whom desires they should be qualified and considered. Unfortunately, the leadership roles more often have gone to “on paper qualified” individuals, but lack in leading first with the company’s vision, mission, and culture. It sadly can spoil a great workplace and team members under such leadership lose their platform of excelling in their careers and what is ultimately lost as a result is the driving force and what this entire industry is built on- providing an individualized experience for guests that is of the highest quality of hospitality. "Define early and VERY CLEARLY what it takes to get promoted. If those targets are unrealistic, don't accept the job. I had the goalposts moved on me and it wasn't fun. And if you're a Democrat, don't show it. "

"Hilton has a lot of focus on Diversity and Inclusion and ultimately Belonging. in EMEA the focus is mostly on Gender Balance. While there is a lot that can still be done to reach that balance in the Hospitality Industry, Hilton is really seeing it as a top priority, understands the business value of diversity and it's a key agenda item from CEO to GM. "
"Hilton is accepting and respectful to women. They look for women to be leaders in all areas."
"Dont work for them because they discriminate against woman and tolerate harassment. "

"Hilton is a very inspirational and forward thinking company. I am very proud and satisfied to work here. Our CEO is AMAZING and sets the tone for the leadership team. My coworkers are smart, ambitious and kind. I feel very fortunate to have gotten in the door here eight years ago. Every year just keeps getting better. I love the direction we headed and excited for our bright future as a company."

"There are many opportunities to move up the ladder. Make it known (at least to your manager) what you want to do. Network with other leaders and cultivate more junior female talent. "

"I work on a team of all women. We joke and laugh together, but most importantly, WE GET STUFF DONE! Not only is my team all female, but a majority of the other people I work with are also women, many of which have 5+ years with the organization and have grown significantly in their roles. This is a testament to the fact that Hilton respects that value that women bring to the workplace!"

"I am so confident that individuals will enjoy working at Hilton that I will recommend the company to anyone: friends, family, students - most especially women. I have been given the resources to succeed and the encouragement to give it my best shot, even if it's a task I'm relatively new at. I feel like my opinions are welcome at all levels of the company and I see change continuing to happen to break barriers for women in the workforce, not only in corporate America but around the world. "Stand up for what you believe. Let your voice be heard. "
"Strongly recommend because they treat each employee fairly and everyone is friendly here."
"Make your self heard and do not stand for the mostly mail executive boards and leadership teams. Find a mentor that holds equality as one of the highest standards."
"That all employees are valued here, regardless of gender, race, religion, etc."
"Hilton is a great place to work -- they value their team members."

"Hilton is a great place to work full stop. The company truly cares about it's team members well being. It's really been an amazing experience. "
"It's a great place to work no matter if you are single or married, kids or no kids, young or old. The flexibility of working hours and opportunity to always learn and grow are limitless. "
"It's great for working moms, and the women really support each other. "
"Great benefits, Awesome environment, the people are wonderful to work with ..."
"There are lots of opportunities for career development here. If you work hard, are a team player, and let the right people know where you want to go in your career, you can go far."
"Hilton is a great place for women and they encourage career growth!"
"The culture, environment and flexibility is great for productivity and work/life balance."
"Hilton respects all cultures and genders. Unlike past jobs Hilton has always treated me with the same respect as men. I feel that Hilton is genuinely interested in bettering each employee personally and professionally. I would highly recommend Hilton to women."
"Hilton is an amazing place to work! The culture is great! There is so much energy and passion here and everyone (male or female) is given the opportunity to move up and move around. I have seen people move from department to department while moving up vs having to start over. Hilton truly cares about it's Team Members and understands that if we are happy, our guests will be happy! "

"Benefits are good. Upper management has stock options; wish this was available for all team members. Lots of opportunities throughout the organization. Work, life balance is not always respected"
"Hospitality has traditionally been a male-dominated field (whether it's ownership of actual hotels or employee makeup of a hospitality company) and it can sometimes feel like a boys club. That's changing slightly but important to keep that in mind as you work on projects and learn about the company. "
"We have a very friendly, light, funny working environment in the office. We still manage to be very efficient and professional and having a laugh together."

"Hilton is great place to work and any women will thrive in such a culture which encourages equality and provides an amazing work-life balance"
"It is a place that promotes and supports woman leaders"
"The company pats itself on the back for 10 weeks of mat leave which is nicer than 0 but it is hardly enough time to leave a newborn in someone else's care. There's also no evidence of an audit to check that women and men are paid fairly. There's also only 2 women in our executive committee, but plenty of women in the pipeline so I wonder where the glass ceiling comes in. "
"Hilton is a wonderful place to work. They do promote family time! I have worked for other companies as a mom, and Hilton is by far the most accommodating company. I don't feel guilty being at work and I don't feel guilty when I need to be my mom and step away from work! "
"Respect and intergrity are paramount at this organisation, personal choices are respcted and the culture is very fair "
"It empowers its employees even in analyst-level positions. Great culture with very genuine leadership who care about their employees. "
"Hilton provides opportunities for career growth and not just through climbing the corporate ladder. The company embraces team members moving from one department to another and building team members' skill sets so that they are valuable in more than just one area. Leadership takes our annual team member survey results very serious and each year new actions are taken based on the feedback received. In my time here (10+ years) I've been provided opportunities to do things I have never done, travel to places I've never been and have grown my career more than I expected. Hilton is a great place to work and I feel my contributions to the organization are properly recognized and rewarded. Overall Hilton embraces diversity of all kinds. Diversity is built into our culture. The only gap in this statement is our executive leadership. There are many women in leadership roles through the senior director level; however when you get to the VP and higher level there are significantly less women in those roles. It is my understanding that this is something the company is actively working to address and change (4/13/18 date of this review)."
"It is a great place for everyone to work, not just women. "

"If you are looking for an opportunity to GROW while maintaining work/life balance, Hilton is an ideal choice. "
"Hilton is making strides addressing the needs of women in the workplace"
"Only work first shift. All other shifts lack employee help and no security guard."
"Hilton is a global company with endless opportunities. You can get very close to achieving your career goals at Hilton, however, it does require hard work, consistently showing results, and a team of sponsors from the senior leadership level."
