"Instacart is a great place to work! It's a supportive and inclusive culture - I enjoy working with my colleagues who are thoughtful and collaborative. "
"It's a deeply collaborative culture that values the inputs and experience of of women across the organization."
"It's a supportive community taking on interesting challenges to deliver groceries for consumers and creating earnings opportunities for shoppers. "
"Our culture is supportive, thoughtful, empathetic and neighborly. Our management team truly walks the walk and leads by example to give each team permission to live their full lives. Personally, I took a 4-month maternity leave in the middle of having a busy job and my boss was wonderfully supportive - I've taken similar leave at other companies and this was by far the smoothest experience I could have hoped for. In my day to day job, the work // family balance has never been harder given work remote realities, but at Instacart I know I can juggle Zoom school with my daughter, being there for my family and working efficiently to try and be all things for everyone. I have never had a job where I've felt so seen, heard and supported."
"The women in leadership here are fantastic - wonderful leaders across nearly every part of the business, and full of great role models and mentors."

"The team is hardworking but very independent & flexible -- its up to you when to work and how much to work, as long as your work gets done"
"This is an incredible place to work. Instacart took care of it's employees before COVID-19, and since then they've showed up even more. From mental health holidays to flexible schedules to help us make space for our families and ourselves to the increased transparency and communication — I feel so supported. "
"I've been inspired by the female leadership at the company. They are all stellar people - encouraging, pragmatic, whip smart and thoughtful - making it easy to see myself grow happily at the company for years to come. "

"Simply know your worth. Be willing to walk away from batches when the pay isn’t what you want it to be. Set a daily goal and once you hit that goal decide whether you will keep working. "

"Instacart is a very progressive employer, and is more sensitive to women's issues than any other employer I've had. There are women's and other minority-driven ERG groups, flexibility around scheduling, and many other benefits. They pay 100% of salary for 6-8 weeks after giving birth, and then you are able to take 12 weeks of fully paid "bonding leave." Bonding leave also applies any parent to bond with their newborn, adopted or foster child. "
