"The way Klaviyo treated me after finding out I was pregnant - I was interviewing while 5 months pregnant- reinforced the idea that I made the right choice. I was met with excitement and joy instead of distaste. I have felt supported during my entire pregnancy and my wellbeing has always been made a priority. "

"Klaviyo truly supports diversity and inclusion, and while we're not perfect, we've made huge strides to empower women in the workplace. We have an employee resource group call KLadies Collaborative, and lots of education/coaching resources to ensure women are able to further their careers in the ways that interest them. "

"We're not quite where we want to be in terms of the male to female ratio of employees at Klaviyo, but we're working hard to change that and are making progress every quarter!
Unlimited PTO does not need to be approved - you just put it in the calendar and take the time you need. They encourage you to take a minimum of 1 week off per quarter. This means I never have any issues taking off school holidays and teacher professional development days to spend time with my kiddo. During the summer I couldn't get him into camp so I needed to take longer lunches and breaks to help entertain him (he's 8) and it was never an issue. Nor was it an issue if he interrupted meetings.
People are very intentional about making sure women are treated equitably (which is even better than being treated equally)."

"While you will be able to take your child to the doctor as needed, you will make up for it in the 70 hours you put in each week. Also, women have had their ratings adjusted downward by upper management (who they don't report to) despite positive reviews by their direct manager. Overall, the work-life balance is horrible and it's a sinking ship with poor leadership. "
