"This is a great place to grow your career. There are women in leadership roles, but the senior executive roles are mainly held by men."
"Generally, I've found my coworkers and supervisors to be very supportive - but PepsiCo moves at an incredibly fast pace. I have flexibility to work from home, but I also work 10 hours most days."

"It truly is a great place to work. Equality doesn't even begin to describe how the company truly makes you feel. If you work hard, it is noticed. They give you all the tools that you need in order to succeed and they are willing to do what they can to help you move forward in your career. "

"Women are truly supported at this company and are treated equally to men."
"PepsiCo is very mindful of the gap between males & females in the workplace, so there are a lot of extra initiatives that push female presence and involvement. "
"The benefits here are not great but this is the first company I've worked for that doesn't feel sexist. I believe women are paid as well as men and that promotions and job opportunities are given to both men and women equally."
"Flexibility has evolved over the years. Flexible hours exists with varying degrees depending on the team/manager."
"There are many female role models in the business, demonstrating true leadership, but some appear to be pretty stressed much of the time so I'm undecided if it's a good thing or bad to get further promotion when I'm already stretched."
"You need to know what is important to you - and how/where you would draw the line for your own personal work/life balance. The company is driven and will take all that you give and never tell you 'that's too much' - so you need to make sure you say it yourself. They always respect that answer of 'that's too much' but you have to be able to articulate it yourself. If that is the case, it is a great place to work."
"Speak up and be visible. Do the informal networking and get to know people at work events and other. Keeping your nose down and getting your work done is not enough. Have a respected mentor that will speak up for you during people planning / annual reviews. If your function is primarily male, then it is best to have a male mentor in this situation."
"In general I think promotions and opportunities are fair and there are great people that work here. What is most discouraging is seeing continued departures of great women due to lack of promotions to senior executive levels."
"It is a very flexible work environment that treats women equally"
"Strong female and diverse leadership representation. Work life balance. Onsite Daycare option at NY HQ office. "
"I have worked for PepsiCo close to 10 years and have experienced many changes, but one things remains the same… strong females from entry level to executive. We are a performance based company that highly encourages the female voice to be heard and supplies endless resources to ensure we’re set up for success. PepsiCo truly stands by their work life balance policies. We have the ability to flex our hours and location to balance home life and work life. It’s a special culture that is very hard to come by! "

"Frito-Lay is a very political company, especially as you move up the ranks. You must be known by those in leadership within your group. This can be difficult to maintain as your biggest champions could move to other divisions and then you could be left with no one pulling for you."

"PepsiCo is a great place to work as a women. We have great resources that allow you to meet other women in the workplace for mentoring or just to chat about being a woman in manufacturing. It is a very diverse workplace where I don't feel like I get treated differently as a woman. I feel valued and that my opinions and ideas are respected. Plus our CEO is a woman! Can't top that!"
"This employer is an excellent choice if you are willing to put in the work and like the manufacturing side of a business. There is a healthy balance between having to be out on the floor and projects done at your desk."
"That upon hiring they need to gain sr leadership advocacy on career path."
"PepsiCo is headed in the right direction, however sometimes I feel like they promote women just to promote them. As a female, its insulting to be promoted just based on my gender. I WANT to earn that promotion. I can't say this is a rampant issue across the company, but I would say its a watch out for PepsiCo. "
"We are a company focused on gender parity company wide. "
"The opportunity for career growth is boundless, and the culture highly collaborative."
"Great people to work with; face paced environment; very diverse "
"The ability to collaborate and connect across departments is unparalleled, you can manufacture your own career path."

"Women get promoted in the company and it is visible. PepsiCo values diversity and continues to focus on improving it. "
"It has a very strong affiliation culture that is based a lot on relationships. For me that means it often feels like a very familial environment. This helps with the flexibility because my managers and peers know and care about my family."
"PepsiCo bridges the gap between social responsibility and top tier financial security. Our Performance with Purpose initiative is integrated into our culture and it's something we live every single day. It's refreshing for a company as large as PepsiCo to truly care about human sustainability and environmental sustainability, while continuing to maintain it's Fortune 50 status. As a female, there's nothing better than being with a company that encourages my voice to be heard and provides countless resources to ensure I'm set up for success."

"On the positive - It is a great company to work for. On the negative - Depending on your field of work within the company, there may be opportunities to engage your male counterparts to educate them on the fact that you are not their administrative assistant and the more difficult assignment should reflect your expertise and capabilities"
Anonymous shared this review of PepsiCo on May 26th, 2017
"Engage male counterparts and ensure that you are getting assignments that are equal to you knowledge and skills and ensure you are not being utilized as mere Administrative Assistance to do administrative tasks they do not want to do."
"Within the IT department, particularly in the development and design organization under one particular director, there are no women in leadership positions. The few that are-are only from Deloitte. It is incredibly difficult for any career advancement in this organization because there are many very competent women within this organization who are regularly dismissed even though their male counterparts do not perform to the same degree but are applauded and recognized far more often, either with awards or promotions. Sexual harassment from executive levels is also the norm within this organization."
"In this workplace, code of conduct is highly encouraged, thus we are governed with the correct standards."
"The flexibility and work life balance are great. It does seem that women are passed up for promotion opportunities into Director and above level positions. Men are much more likely to get that opportunity than women even if the woman has much better qualifications."
"Great opportunity if you are willing to put in a great deal of effort."

"Open Dialogue about how to evolve the workplace to increase flexibility"
"except for the CEO, good luck finding women in senior roles. If you do find them, they won't be there for long."
"I would say as long as you are open about your expecations, you can meet the needs of being a working mom. Don't be diluted that you will be able to make every class party or game as you climb the ranks within the company, though. The higher up you get, the more demands on time. Many people set up their boundaries as they will not work between 530 and 730, and once their kids are in bed, if they need to do something, they can get back online. So that's how many of us find the balance to be able to leave while others just stay at the office until all hours. I also find that certain locations start much earlier in the morning which makes my days much easier. The culture is changing and open to adapting, but you have to be open to adapting and speaking up for your needs. "

"Medical Benefits are costly and deductible is high so be prepared."
"The work is challenging, but rewarding. You do need to manage your own career - no one else here is going to do that for you. It's definitely a learning I've had."
"It is a food manufacturing industry, so it is fast paced. They have treated me very well, and thus why I've been with the company nearly 10 years. Compensation has also been very good. If you work in manufacturing, you will not be wearing dresses or high heels to work, but you will be treated with respect and dignity."
"You own your destination, facts are black and white if you can show the facts clearly to management the destiny of your career is yours"
"Working at PepsiCo has been a positive experience. I've held a variety of roles in different departments within the company and have witnessed the shift which encourages culture and diversity in all work groups. It's a pleasure to work for a company that takes as much pride in their workforce as they do their innovative product line."

"In my opinion, Pepsi puts more emphasis on diversity than any other company I have experienced. This directive goes beyond words as the company puts a lot of time and resources into improving the representation of women at all levels of the organization. This is one aspect that makes me proud to work for Pepsi. "
"PepsiCo has an extremely inclusive culture that is very open to flexibility that some women require in order to balance work and life. Our CEO, who is a woman, is very focused on on the recruitment, retention and promotion of women. PepsiCo is a place that will help you adapt your career to your life, not the other way around."
"Like many companies, there is room for improvement but I don't think that is due to lack of drive or policies from the companyto support women. I think it is more of the overall social/cultural shift that needs to happen universally in our society."
"PepsiCo is a fantastic company to work for. Female leadership and critical experience is a priority of the future. "
"There are many female hiring iniatives utilized through social and digital media. "

"Long hours. Lots of travel. Must move every 18-24 months to advance career."
"Lots of women here, but very few females and minorities in high level positions. Of those women in higher levels, most emulate male counterparts by opting for mostly male and mostly non-monority staff."
"Life outside the office is not valued. Still very much a boys network on the beverages side of business. Company is trying to change their culture but it is very slow and not coming from executive levels where women are sparse."
"Work/life balance depends completely on the support of you manager/function rather than corporate policy. In general, I have found the men I worked for to be much more supportive than other women."
"I've worked here for 2.5 years. The amount of women present in various roles, functions, & levels is quite remarkable. Maybe it helps since the CEO is a woman, which is absolutely great! I've just come back from maternity leave; I took 12 wks off (6 paid). So far the transition back to work has been smooth. Only downfall is that my manager doesn't respect the time I have blocked for pumping."
"Some functions are a boys club and diversity is lacking in senior/executive level roles. Various opportunities to gain experience within several company divisions and functions. Work/life balance in some functions can be difficult, especially when managing "office facetime" pressures."
"PepsiCo is always looking to get women into the work place. PepsiCo doesn't fear putting a woman in an important role. Pepsi Beverages entails a very large group of blue collar jobs that are extremely demanding and it is important to make sure that respect is earned by showing that you understand the demands of those below you. Women have had a lot of growth in this company, and the glass ceiling fails to exist. After all, the CEO is a woman."
"Management is female-dominated and is truly an awesome environment to work in and a company that truly cares about their employees and careers."
"Great Company to work for. Almost completely male dominate besides admin staff. Love my job."
"I've been with PepsiCo over a decade and have had a variety of diverse, challenging roles. PepsiCo provides great functional and leadership experience. However, the more senior I become, the more I realize that having a long term career here is contingent upon putting the company first. You must be on call 24/7, work long hours, travel a lot, and be willing to relocate in order to move up the corporate ladder. It's an up or out culture so if you're not willing to do that, it's best to find another position."
"Management is male dominated & it's very much a boys club. They could care less about their employees, talk about work life balance but really expect a 60 hour work week."
"While there are woman here. It is mostly men and most of the women have support roles"
"Great company with clear vision and passion for products and offerings for the consumer. Many levels of women leaders across the company with fair and equal opportunities to excel. High energy, smart and dedicated people."
"sometimes mergers not a good thing!"
"Your experience will be determined by the function and location your role sits in."
"If you don't know then ask the question."
