My supervisor encouraged me to be more creative in my internal corp messaging, then her supervisor, who reviews communications before they go out, would change everything. Her version of creativity apparently differs from mine, and is at odds with the encouragement to try new approaches. Very frustrating. "

"Some positions are very family unfriendly. Because of a rule that communications can't be sent to the company's staffing population before 5 p.m., the primary sender has to stay later to send everything. Often, she gets home to her husband and young son after 6:30 p.m. "

"I was one of two women who were single mothers to young children. We were repeatedly treated with little regard for our roles as mothers although we were very successful in our positions. This kind of attitude started with my boss, who was a woman, but without children, and went right up the chain of command to our district president, who was also a woman!! Besides our branch, I heard this a lot from other branches across our district and across the country."
