"While the PR doesn't look good, this is a great time to be at Uber. Women's voices are being heard in new ways, allies for women are speaking up for better work environments. There is a positive wave of energy that is fueling what women are doing and how women's leadership and voice are being leveraged to improve Uber as a business and place to work. "

"With the current performance review process, the company values contradict family-focused decisions. You have to tradeoff time: time with work or time with family, and that might impact the midyear and annual performance review."

"I've enjoyed working here so far. The atmosphere is definitely intense, it's a fast paced tech company. There is the typical gender split that leaves me mostly working with males in engineering, and females in marketing. As with most tech companies in the Silicon Valley, everyone is gender progressive, but subconscious bias prevails and you'll end up being more successful adopting typically make traits. "
