"Uber is an amazing company to propel your career forward. I also can't state enough how well their benefits are (speaking for the United States). The flexibility to do my work around random events that may pop up was exactly what I was looking for in a job. I feel as though I'm treated as "an adult" and can manage my workload without someone breathing down my neck, but also given support and guidance if I request it. I've had the opportunity to work in many different positions over a nearly 3 year period and learn a lot about different aspects of the business. "

"The atmosphere is very much a "boys club." Uber paid lipservice to making improvements, but in terms of actual improvements, they're pretty much non-existent."

"Flexibility exists, but it's really only on paper, and only for employees of certain levels. Additionally, management has a tendency to play favorites regarding when flexible arrangements are acceptable or not."
