"Many women in leadership roles with the glaring exception of sales on the Employee Benefits side. Senior leadership also tends to be male which limits opportunities to be mentored. Voya has been extremely flexible about work from home during COVID which has made employees feel valued and respected. With a lot of women at the AVP level it's common now to see working moms have young kids on their laps in Zoom team meetings and it's nice we have become less formal and in return most likely more engaged."

"There are many women in leadership positions until you get to the very top. Pay and promotions are based on merit only, however we are not promoting internally as much as we used to."
