Career Ambition 4 Moms

It takes a village to raise a career

What support system do you have on your career track? For me I have to take a piece from here and there to put things together in the jigsaw puzzle that is my life. Support for divorce. Support for parenting a child with different abilities. Support to rebuild my career after years of part time work. Support to get into my love of #InvestorRelations. Support for coping with COVID19 thanks to Facebook!!!! Support for homeschooling....and the list goes on. Whewwwww!!! Anyway, I found this great article from Forbes that looked right inside my head. https://www-forbes-com.cdn.ampproject.org/c/s/www.forbes.com/sites/avivahwittenbergcox/2020/05/17/4-phases-of-womens-careers-part-ii--the-potential-of-the-40s--50/amp/?fbclid=IwAR1dRcIjbFtVL7kXe8C0U2vQKdmnDRsrEH252M34G2fFXtvGtTrqpyuJHO0

Thank you for sharing this. I have been researching this very issue recently! And what I have been finding is that some women will risk becoming solo-preneurs than continue to slowly maneuver in waste deep waters of corporations at the age of 40+. They get fed up or frustrated. It is all very interesting and begs the question of can we have it all? Ann Marie Slaughter wrote a book that goes further into this question; Unfinished Business.
