Acting as a key interface among Worldwide Operations Team, strategic suppliers and contract manufacturers, APO GSSM is responsible for managing strategic and tactical initiatives of the Apple supply chain. This role will focus on a specific commodity and will play a critical role in the overall success of the Apple Operation. We are looking for a Senior Semiconductor Supply Manager to be Apple's on-the-ground presence at our semiconductor foundry partners. Based in-region near key fabrication sites, you will build deep, trust-based relationships with fab leadership, engineering teams, and operations staff - translating that access into actionable intelligence and operational advantages for Apple.

Description
- Collaborate with Worldwide Team to plan capacity, prepare supply chain for new product ramps, lead timely actions to resolve supply issues and ensure supply continuity
- Manage and ensure suppliers to maintain industry leading quality, delivery and cost
- Establish and maintain professional and deep, productive business partnership with suppliers
- Develop ground-level visibility for competitive intelligence
- Identify and drive operational levers to expedite and maximize supply with internal and external partners - lot prioritization, equipment dedication, mask scheduling, and WIP flow optimization
- Influence and shape the fabs' operational decisions by understanding their constraints and positioning Apple's requirements within those realities
- Collect and form cost structure insights, capacity signals, and competitive dynamics to strengthen Apple's negotiation leverage
- Provide on-the-ground context for critical internal decisions - where flexibility exists, what's realistic, and what trade-offs apply
- Deliver early warning on node transitions, equipment investments, and geopolitical developments affecting supply continuity
- Track wafer delivery against product milestones and resolve delays locally before they escalate
- Partner with foundry process teams on yield improvements and excursion resolution to ensure Apple lots receive priority engineering attention
- Coordinate with in-region test, packaging, and assembly partners for seamless wafer-to-product handoffs
