This role will lead complex, high-impact work, serve as a strategic partner to HR and business leadership, and translate business and workforce needs into forward-looking and scalable talent strategies from design through implementation and measurement.

What You'll Do:

  • Help shape the enterprise Talent Management strategy and multi-year priorities
  • Lead highly complex, ambiguous, or cross-functional initiatives that require conceptual thinking, evaluation of interdependencies and tradeoffs, and alignment across multiple stakeholder groups
  • Design, pilot, implement, and scale new talent practices that connect voice of customer, industry trends, and business needs to improve how Chewy assesses, develops, deploys, and retains talent
  • Integrate AI, automation, and emerging technologies into strategic design to improve decision-making and insights, and enable more scalable, data-driven talent practices
  • Own the strategy and roadmap for assigned talent priorities, translating broad objectives into clear plans, decisions, milestones, and measurable outcomes
  • Build commitment to new or enhanced talent practices through effective communication and stakeholder engagement, influence at senior levels, and effective change leadership
  • Establish measures of success, assess the effectiveness and business value of talent practices, and use data and stakeholder feedback to continuously improve them
  • Identify patterns and emerging needs across the organization and translate them into enterprise-level insights, recommendations, or future priorities

What You'll Need:

  • 10+ years of experience in Talent Management or related enterprise roles
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • Ability to operate independently on strategic, complex, and high-priority talent work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Strong strategic and critical-thinking skills, including the ability to structure ambiguous problems, evaluate intangible factors, and anticipate broader implications
  • Business acumen and the ability to understand and translate specific organizational needs into outcomes
  • Experience advising and influencing senior HR and business leaders
  • Experience using written narratives such as white papers or memos to communicate recommendations and support decisions is preferred

The base salary range for this role is $149,000 - $245,000.00.
  • The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
