I work in a male-dominated area that does not recognize nor appreciate that women act and think differently. Despite studies that have shown that women are good investors and may even be superior to men, women's opinions are given short-thrift. Too many senior men have stay-at-home wives and I think that this colors their perception of women who work.
Great benefits. Flexibility is determined by the department you are in. The majority of management has children as well and can be very accommodating. Keep in mind, there are a lot of departments that are pretty entry level and incredibly strict with time/vacation.
