Description
As a Voice Platform Software Engineer, you will help design, develop, and operate scalable voice infrastructure and real-time communication services used in high-volume customer interaction environments. You will work on technologies related to SIP signaling, media handling, WebRTC, distributed systems, and cloud-native platform development. The role requires strong software engineering fundamentals, problem-solving ability, and a passion for building resilient systems that operate at scale. You will collaborate closely with platform engineers, client application teams, infrastructure teams, and architects to deliver reliable and high-performing communication solutions.","responsibilities":"Design and develop scalable voice and real-time communication platform components
Build and maintain software services for SIP signaling, media control, routing, and session management
Develop reliable and efficient backend services using C or C++
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to voice quality, signaling, media flows, and distributed systems
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver end-to-end communication solutions
Improve platform scalability, resiliency, observability, and operational efficiency
Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, testing, and production support activities
Contribute to automation, monitoring, and deployment tooling for voice platform services
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with WebRTC, or VoIP technologies
Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
Experience with scalable distributed systems and event-driven architectures
Experience working with Kafka, Redis, or similar distributed infrastructure technologies
Experience with real-time communication platforms such as FreeSWITCH, Kamailio, Asterisk, or similar technologies
Experience with SIP, RTP
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years of software development experience using C or C++
Experience developing backend or distributed systems software
Understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, HTTP, TLS, and load balancing
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
