Description
This role is a senior position responsible for two core streams of work: originating bold creative for Japan and ensuring global creative translates powerfully within the market.

First, the Creative Director will lead the development of original concepts and copy for Japan marketing initiatives. Working with a team of writers and in close partnership with design, they will guide world-class creative across owned retail spaces, non-owned environments, and digital platforms including Apple.com and Line. The role sets the creative standard for the region; shaping ideas from concept through execution while ensuring work is strategically grounded, culturally resonant, and on brand.

Second, the Creative Director will lead a team translating and editing of U.S. creative work for the Japanese market. This includes leading an internal creative team, a network of freelance writers, and agency partners to ensure global campaigns and product launches land with clarity, craft, and cultural relevance in the region.

Across both areas, the role champions strong ideas, exceptional writing, and the development of creative talent.

15+ years of relevant experience including at least 5+ years as creative leader with a consistent track record of leading multi-disciplinary teams.
Demonstrated ability to provide creative direction and copy guidance for marketing, communication, or advertising campaigns.
