Billions of people pick up an Apple product every day. What they don't see is the brilliant engineering that makes it all just work - that's where you come in. Electromagnetic compatibility isn't just a compliance checkbox at Apple - it's an engineering art form. Here, you'll tackle some of the most complex and consequential EMC challenges in the industry, working on products that touch virtually every corner of the globe.

We're looking for someone who naturally approaches problems with creativity and curiosity - an engineer who doesn't just solve the challenge in front of them, but reimagines how it could be solved better. We deeply value a genuine desire to acquire new skills and grow professionally, and we work best with excellent communicators who can fluently collaborate across cross-functional teams. If you're resourceful, passionate, and ready to develop solutions that don't yet exist - there's no telling what you could accomplish here.

Description

As an EMC Design Engineer, you will evaluate, design, and optimize EMC solutions that define the quality and reliability of Apple products - combining deep technical expertise with innovation and creative problem-solving at every stage of development.

You will apply first-principles thinking to EMC challenges, stripping problems down to their fundamental physics to uncover solutions that go beyond conventional approaches.

You will think systematically about products as integrated designs, understanding how components and subsystems contribute to overall EMC performance - always asking not just what the data shows, but why.

You will seamlessly collaborate with design teams, test engineers, and cross-functional partners to develop and implement solutions that are elegant, effective, and manufacturable.

You will conduct design reviews, create comprehensive test plans, and analyze results - turning findings into clear, actionable guidance for peers and leadership.

You will embrace Apple's culture of continuous learning, sharing best practices and lessons learned to support first-pass success on future designs.","responsibilities":"Review mechanical designs of enclosures, connectors, and cables for EMC compliance
