Responsibilities

Team Description
Creators are one of TikTok's key advantages, and TikTok's creator marketing ecosystem is experiencing rapid global growth. At the same time, generative AI is reshaping how advertisers create, test, and scale high-performing creative assets.

The Global Creative Strategy and Operations team works at the intersection of product, operations, marketing, sales, and strategy to identify growth opportunities, shape product direction, and improve advertiser success across industries. We are looking for a strategic member to join the Creative Product and Operations team and help drive growth across two strategic focus areas:
1. Creator marketing and creator ads
2. AIGC, including generative AI products for ad creative creation

This role will be responsible for driving product and business strategy through market research, competitor product analysis, startup ecosystem mapping, data analytics, product design and functionality comparisons, market trend analysis, and customer interviews.

Responsibilities
- Lead high-impact strategic initiatives aligned with TikTok's growth priorities, driving cross-functional alignment and securing stakeholder buy-in across Operations, Product Marketing, Product, Sales, and regional teams
- Conduct strategic analysis of TikTok's rapidly growing creator marketing, creator ads, and AIGC creative product businesses, including business models, customer needs, product adoption, and monetization opportunities
- Lead competitor product analysis across major platforms, emerging startups, and the broader creative technology ecosystem, with a focus on product capabilities, workflows, positioning, and advertiser value propositions
- Compare product design, functionality, user journeys, and feature gaps across TikTok and competitor platforms to identify opportunities for product improvement and differentiation
- Study the global influencer marketing, creator content, brand advertising, and AIGC ad creative markets to generate insights on demand, supply, product trends, and competitive dynamics
- Conduct customer interviews and synthesize advertiser, creator, and stakeholder feedback into clear product and business recommendations
- Use advanced analytics to uncover key performance drivers, diagnose business performance, decode market and audience trends, and identify high-impact growth opportunities
- Translate complex datasets into compelling, easy-to-understand visual narratives for technical and non-technical audiences
- Collaborate with product teams to advance key strategic projects and ensure consistent execution across markets

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 2+ years of experience in strategy and operations, strategy consulting, management consulting, product operations, product strategy, business analysis, or data analytics
- High proficiency in English and Mandarin listening, speaking, reading and writing. Both English and Mandarin skill sets are required to support clients in China and to communicate with stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills, high data sensitivity, and the ability to conduct complex business and product analysis
- Experience turning ambiguous business questions into structured analyses, clear insights, and actionable recommendations

Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams across cultures and time zones
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive, adaptable, and resilient, with strong learning ability and comfort operating in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environment
- Experience in brand advertising, creator marketing, creative products, creator content operations, ad products, marketing technology, AIGC, generative AI products, creative automation, or AI-enabled advertising workflows is preferred
