Tracy joined Fisher Investments in 2021 as an Investment Counselor in our Plano, TX office. Her main responsibility is helping clients achieve their long-term financial goals. In this role, she likes that Fisher has a separation of sales and service which allows her to focus on building relationships with her clients.
She enjoys Fisher’s culture of nurturing long-term career growth. A few of the benefits that make her feel supported are the 100% employer paid healthcare premiums (for qualified employees and their qualified dependents), the 50% 401(k) match up the annual IRS maximum, and the generous paid time off!
Jill began her career at Fisher Investments in 1999, immediately after graduating from college. Currently, Jill holds the position of Senior Executive Vice President of the US Private Client Group, which is one of the four main business units of the firm. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing all private client acquisition and service in the United States. Throughout her career at Fisher Investments, Jill has held various leadership positions across the business in Research, Marketing and Client Services—which is where she started out as a Client Service Associate.
When she's not working, Jill enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, surfing, and reading.
Anitha started her Fisher career in 2014 and currently is a Senior Application Developer. She loves being able to learn, develop, and witness firsthand overall growth and improvement in the firm’s technology. Her work implementing technology transformation is what led to her promotion.
She really enjoys the culture of recognition at Fisher and often utilizes the firmwide recognition platform to praise her coworkers. The firmwide recognition platform, Stellar, enables employees to give out rewards points and send praise to other coworkers. The work-life balance and flexibility are other benefits that foster a great culture. When she is not working, she likes to spend time outside and working out which is made possible through the work life balance, flexibility, and other benefits the firm offers!
Nicole joined the firm as a Talent Sourcing Specialist and was promoted after a year to Corporate Recruiter. Her role involves supporting hiring for the firm’s more specialized teams such as Accounting and Risk Mitigation. Her favorite thing about her role is how each day looks different based on what positions need to be filled.
She really loves how Fisher focuses on Diversity and Inclusion. She participates in many of the Employee Resources Groups where she can learn and even share about her own Filipino heritage and what that means to her as an individual.
Two things that really stand out to Nicole about Fisher is the supportive work environment and the 100% employer paid health insurance premiums (for qualified employees and their qualified dependents) which allowed her to feel secure when expanding her family. Outside of work she enjoys taking her son to Jiu Jitsu, kayaking, and reading.
Emily has grown her career at Fisher Investments for over 15 years and held a variety of different roles. Although her focus area has been within the Investment Counselor group, she also worked in Technology and Trading.
Her main responsibility as an Investment Counselor (IC) Group Vice President is hiring, training, and developing the ICs she oversees while providing excellent service to our clients.
One of the main reasons she has continued to work at Fisher is the opportunities the firm affords its employees. She specifically mentions how Fisher enables and supports long-term careers which is something she hasn’t seen at other companies.
What makes a good an Investment Counselor? To Emily, it is someone who really enjoys building and nurturing relationships. Someone who is extremely engaged with their clients and is excited by ongoing learning and growth.
