Associates can use different options for when and where they work to better balance professional and personal responsibilities. Eligibility depends on a combination of business needs, the associate’s role and what’s available locally according to individual state employment standards and labor laws.
Parental Transition Schedule: Associates can work a reduced weekly schedule for a temporary period upon returning to work following the birth, adoption or fostering of a child.
Flexplace: Associates can work from home, a different CG office or another suitable work location up to two days per week, depending on the role.
Flextime: Associates can flex their start and stop times, work permitting.
Seasonal Flex Fridays: Each year from July through August, full-time associates can leave up to two hours before their normally scheduled time each Friday, work permitting. Individual lines of business may select two different months based on business needs.
Alternative Workweek Schedule (AWS): Full-time, overtime eligible U.S. associates can work longer days for part of the week in exchange for a shorter day or day off each week. (This option is not widely offered and requires a vote for OT eligible associates in CA)
Part-time: Associates can work a reduced weekly schedule.

This benefit is available to all new parents, whether you’re a mom or dad welcoming a child by birth, adoption, surrogacy or foster-care placement. Available to full-time and part-time associates.
associates may be eligible for up to 10 weeks of paid pregnancy leave (100% of base salary) that can start up to two weeks before the mother's due date, as part of our Short-Term Disability (STD) program.
Many of our offices offer expectant moms special parking spaces.
when mother's return to work, we want to make sure they feel comfortable if they are choosing to breastfeed. We have state-of-the-art Moms' rooms where associates are provided hospital-grade pumps, a fridge to store their milk as well as a sink for convenience.
Breast Milk Shipping: We also know that juggling business travel while nursing can be difficult so we offer our nursing associates the ability to ship their breast milk home at no cost during business travel.
Capital offers subsidized rates for backup child care (30 days per year for new parents). In addition, we provide resources for sitters, nannies, tutors, and more through Bright Horizons Care Advantage.
